First Sports International have today announced that as part of its suite of applications, it will be adding a front end website to its users. This will provide organisations that have licensed the applications, the ability to offer the end users a free website and content management system (CMS).
The Content Management System (CMS) is provided by a Microsoft endorsed product known as Orchard.
The sites will provide the users with a brochure website, enabling sports organisations the ability to promote their offering on the web without the need for high website design costs and the ongoing, running costs that come.
The Orchard websites are easy to administer, simple to update and quick to create, template websites that are hosted for free.
The websites will be created via the existing Game Management System (GMS) whereby any organisations with access to the suite of applications will have the facility to create their own site directly from within the system.
Once created, the administrator will have the ability to redirect the existing web address to their new domain. Copy across content and manage the information all in one central place.
First Sports International’s content management system will enable the end user to, view competitions, players, league tables, teams, coaches, events, create galleries, match reports, link to social media and a whole array of other tools.
This will all be managed and administered via the GMS system.
