The Georgian Football Federation (GFF) (საქართველოს ფეხბურთის ფედერაცია) was founded in 1936. It was part of the Football Federation of Soviet Union from 1936 to 1989. The Independent Georgian Football Federation was established on 15 February 1990. It is the governing body of football in Georgia and organizes the football league, the Georgian Premier League, and the Georgia national football team as well as grassroots football in Georgia. It is based in Tbilisi.
The GFF is currently implementing First Sports Football Management Systems including player registration, competition & fixture management, officials management, discipline management and statistics. All this information sits on First Sports core master data management platform. Further projects with GFF in 2015 include websites, membership & payments for all clubs in the association.
