World Football Challenge
First Sports proudly assisted the World Soccer Challenge for the duration of its leg in Atlanta during July 2009. The series is a pre season friendly tournament involving Chelsea, AC Milan, LA Galaxy and Club America. The Georgia Dome hosted the first premier level soccer match in Atlanta’s history and FSI’s technology and expertise were used to ensure the event ran both smoothly and successfully.
From a technology perspective the First Sports Ticketing solution was utilised to manage and process all group ticket sales. In addition the FSI event team were on hand for the lead up to and during the course of game day as liaisons to the AC Milan team and as venue management coordinators.
With a turnout of 52,000 spectators the event was an outstanding success, with Club America victorious on the day over AC Milan with the score 2 goals to 1.
