In January 2004 the AELTC (All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club) Wimbledon Championships selected the FSI platform to run and manage the administration of the Championships. The world renowned Grand Slam grass court tournament uses the FSI system which it has named AEGIS (All England Games Information System) to centrally gather and store all data pertaining to the competitors, their guests and coaches, Officials, volunteers, staff and security officers.
AEGIS then drives a number of processes from Pass allocation and printing, to automation of Practise Court bookings and officials allocation to name but a few. In partnership with IBM FSI’s solution provides the infrastructure that underpins the operational success of the Championships, providing an unparalleled experiance and service to all involved in the evnt from both spectators and competitors alike.
The FSI solution continues to expand its presence within the Wimbledon arena, growihg in scope most recentlu to include Denture’s management and online training of Ball Boys and Ball Girls.
