IRB FORU – Federation of Oceania Rugby Unions
The Federation of Oceania Rugby Unions is one of six Regional Associations of the International Rugby Board (IRB). It is responsible for representing the interests of its 11 Member Unions and 4 Associate Members to promote the growth of Rugby throughout Oceania.
FORU manage tournaments spread over a large geographical area in Oceania. This leads to many logistical issues with squad declarations, player team-sheets, referee allocation, player discipline management and automatic results management .
First Sports has worked closely with FORU to provide a Tournament Management solution to FORU. FORU have utlilised this software for the 2009 FORU Under 19s tournament and the 2009 FORU 7s to be held in November 2009.
