Alan I. Rothenberg, is known throughout the world for his participation in professional and amateur sports. He served as president of the U.S. Soccer Federation for eight years and was Chairman and CEO of World Cup USA 1994, and is the founder of Major League Soccer ( MLS). Mr. Rothenberg’s distinguished sports history includes being a past member of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Board of Governors, serving as sport commissioner for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Organising Committee, and chairman of the 1999 FI FA Women's World Cup.
Charles H. Battle is one of the most well known Olympic sports figures in America. An attorney by trade with the firm of Miller & Martin, Mr. Battle has a deep history in International Sports and has served as a key figure in the Olympic Movement for the past 20 years. Most recently he served as the Managing Director for International Relations for the New York City 2012 Olympic Bid. Mr. Battle was the architect of the successful international campaign by Atlanta that won the right to host the 1996 Olympic Games. He served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, was a member of the IOC Evaluation Commission for the Games of the XXVIII Olympiad in 2004 and was a part of the IOC Sports for All Commission. He is a recipient of the prestigious Olympic Order for outstanding contributions to the Olympic Movement.
