Brisbane Roar
As one of eight teams in the inaugural Hyundai A-League season, the club played its first ever match against the New Zealand Knights at Suncorp Stadium on 28 August, 2005, winning 2-0. Since then the club has remained at the forefront of the Hyundai A-League both on and off the pitch.
Following the introduction of two new Queensland teams in 2009, the club changed its name to Brisbane Roar FC.
Brisbane Roar chose First Sports as their provider of membership management software in early 2009. Previously, Brisbane Roar had outsourced their membership management, but in an effort to provide a more personalised service to their members the Roar wanted to manage their season memberships in-house.
Moving from an outsourced solution to an in-house managed solution involved many challenges including data migration and creating the required business processes.
The 2009-2010 season is the first season that First Sports Tickets has been operational at Brisbane Roar and a successful implementation has been achieved.
In the spirit of partnership, First Sports are currently engaged in a post season review with Brisbane Roar and the other A- League clients Gold Coast United and Central Coast Mariners to plan together for another successful season.
