BC Soccer Select FSI
As an association we are continually looking to improve in all aspects, with the ultimate goal of providing further enhanced levels of professional leadership and passionate service to our Membership. In aiming to achieve this goal, we have identified the need for our association to select and implement an appropriate Member Service Management System / database tool to advance the operation and processes behind all activities administered by BC Soccer and our member constituents.
BC Soccer, with our system service providers (First Sports International), had purposefully put very aggressive timelines in place to get phase 1 of the Member Service Management System up and running in BC. This was done to ensure that the highest strategic priority would be assigned to what was anticipated to be a challenging configuration and implementation process. While unfortunately, we were not able to launch on the projected June 30, 2009 launch date, a significant part of the process has now been completed. Further, being that the coastal region has already completed registration for next season and the interior regions have not yet started their registration for next season, we believe there is ample time for a phased in roll-out that will support soccer in BC.
We would like to extend our sincere apologies to the clubs and districts that were looking to utilize this tool as of June 30 and look forward to being able to offer this system and it’s capabilities as soon as possible.
"We are very pleased with the progress we have made with this project to-date, thanks in no small part to the dedicated efforts and assistance from soccer leaders within our membership. A system of this nature is very complex and even though we missed the originally scheduled phase 1 launch date, we are in a good position.” stated Jason Elligott, BC Soccer Director of Community Development.
BC Soccer continues to work hand-in-hand with First Sports International to develop the BC Soccer specific Member Service Management System and look to have it launched in the next few weeks. We feel confident that once we have an all-encompassing and fully integrated Member Service Management System in place, we will be in a much better position to collectively provide the appropriate level of service to our game.
